Got a call from some bloke with a really thick accent, sounded like he was meant to be from a law firm but was obviously trying to scam me. I gave it right back to him with a load of cheeky insults. Didn’t seem to sit well with him, especially after I rang him back five times in a row to carry on having a go. Sometimes you just need to let off steam on someone who can’t even argue back. Made my day, honestly. :)

On Wednesday 12th October, this number popped up but I didn’t pick up since I didn’t know it. Glad to hear it was probably just a scam though. I don’t use TalkTalk for anything, so even if it wasnt a scam, I wouldn’t have bothered with it.

Just got another call from someone saying they're Clair with Talk Talk technical team. They claimed their number was 19. I told them I’m not even with Talk Talk anymore!

Got a call from someone saying they were from TalkTalk's tech support, but I’m pretty sure it was a scam. They tried to convince me there was an issue with my internet, but it felt dodgy. Don’t think they were legit at all!

Brilliant experience.
I was trying to sort out a payment with TalkTalk and after a few failed attempts (kept saying unavailable, try again later), this number rang me.
Not knowing who it was, I just ignored the call.
About two years back I spoke to TalkTalk customer service, and they said someone would call me the next day. But, less than half an hour later I got a dodgy call pretending to be from "TT," offering to fix my computer.
Makes you think how much of our data TalkTalk has misplaced!!

Absolutely ridiculous. I spent like five minutes trying to pay TalkTalk but kept getting that 'unavailable, try again later' message, then this number rings me right after. Didn’t pick up cause I didn’t know who it was. I’d been in contact with TalkTalk about two years back and they said they’d call the next day, but then out of nowhere, 30 minutes later, got scammed by some bloke pretending to be TalkTalk helping with my computer. Makes me wonder just how much of our personal info TalkTalk actually keeps safe!

Was just on the phone with a really pushy woman telling me my internet was hacked and she was going to cut it off. I said, bit dumbly, that I don’t even have internet at home. She got really cross and asked if anyone in the household had a phone, tablet or anything coz they’d all supposedly been hacked too. After that I just ended the call.

They said they were from TalkTalk, but honestly, they were pretty pushy about it. Really didn’t feel very friendly at all.

Got a call from a guy called Jacob, said he was from TalkTalk’s tech team. Spoke good English and claimed they had to cut off our internet for a couple of days to install some sort of live system on my computer. I wasn’t having any of it and told him to buzz off. Definitely a TalkTalk scam if you ask me.
