I’ve just noticed weird charges from 02030366979 for calls I never answered. I wasn’t even in the country for one of those calls and wasn’t home during the others. I’m definitely contacting my phone provider to flag this as fraud. Proper scam if you ask me.

This number was used by someone who ended up misusing the phone it’s linked to. The phone is actually owned by a 93-year-old woman, but it looks like her carers were making calls without permission for quite a while. This went on for months and even caused a big problem once, with a lot of money wasted. We reported it to BT, who gave us a PIN for protection, but somehow they still got hold of it. Now, we’re closing the line and number completely and planning to take legal steps against those responsible.

I saw this number on my phone bill and it looks like I called it, but I didnt. When I tried calling back all I got was weird noises, no one answers or anything. Bit strange!
