Got an email pretending to be from PayPal, using their logos and all. They said there was a £1400 charge for an iPhone 16 on my PayPal account. Then they told us to ring a number if we didn't make the purchase. Obviously, it’s a scam to trick you and steal your money. It showed up in my wife's email inbox.

So this bloke calling from 020 3034 5183 tried telling me my life insurance needed checking or something. I told him straight up to stop beating around the bush and just ask for my bank info or PINs if he wanted to scam me. Told him he’d be wasting his time cause all I’ve got is debt, then I just ended the call.
