Got a ring from 02030341184, said it was First Legal. The line was quiet for around 5 seconds before some robot voice came on saying "Sorry, First Legal cannot connect your call". Bit of a let down really, because I usually get these calls from a quite cheeky lady with a scouse or Manc accent, telling me about a crash I have no clue about from over two years back!

No response on the other side, just an awkward pause of like 8 seconds before they hung up. Luckily my phone’s got that spam filter and warned me it was a scam call before I answered, so I kinda saw it coming and just checked it out. Have it blocked now. I really do feel for the folks stuck with these phone jobs though, must be horrible, especially at places like the job centre if this is the kind of calls they’re dealin’ with. I used to do a bit of telemarketing myself, so I get how rough it can be. Absolutely rubbish.

So I got calls from some lot calling themselves Go Legal, saying they needed to talk to my boyfriend about a car accident. Thing is, they only had my mobile number, not his, which is weird coz he’s never linked his details to my phone. I think maybe it’s from an insurance firm where I listed him as a named driver and they just assumed we share the same number. They’ve rang twice now. First time I told them he doesn’t use my phone and I’m not going to chat about his stuff. Feels like classic ambulance chasers since this accident was ages ago and everything’s sorted.
