Scam Alert - Housing Ruse. These individuals are definitely not your Local Authority Housing or Council Tax department. They're nothing more than crooks trying to con you into revealing your debit or credit card details. It’s completely fraudulent. Take my advice: don’t trust a word they utter. Either hang up immediately or block the call outright. I’ve already reported this number to the Police Action Fraud team, who were previously aware of it and are actively pursuing a court order to trace the source, shut it down, and bring these villains to justice.
