Got a call from 0208 431 7082 claiming to be from BT Openreach. They told me my internet setup was messed about with and switched from private to public. They then asked me to open up Google on my browser, but I wasn’t really sure what they wanted next. I just said I’d check with the person who looks after my computer and didn’t carry on.

I just got a call claiming it was HMRC, but the person had a really thick American accent and started threatening me with court stuff. Didn't sound right at all, definitely a scam.
