On the 28th of Sept 2017, I got a call from a woman who said she was from ‘claims advice’ or something like that. She refused to say where she got info about a supposed car crash involving me, and didn’t want to give her name either. I’ve since reported it to the local homewatch as it seemed really dodgy, happened in the Luton area.

On 28/09/2017, I got a call from a woman claiming to be from ‘claims advice’ or something like that. She wouldn’t reveal where they got info about an alleged car accident involving me, and she refused to give her own name too. Felt shady, so I reported it to the local homewatch here in the Luton area as a potential scam.

I keep getting calls from these folks every few weeks, and they always start with something like "we heard you were in a car crash" or something along those lines. Honestly, no clue what they’re trying to pull. I block the number whenever they ring, but then a few weeks later, they ring me again from a different number and kick off with the same line. As of 24th Sept 2017, this number keeps popping up.

I received a couple of calls from this number. On the first occasion, I picked up and was informed that I was somehow implicated in a recent accident. I can assure you, I hadn’t been anywhere near one! When I inquired about how they got hold of my number, they abruptly ended the conversation. I chose to ignore their second call. What a right nuisance they are!
