I've been receiving persistent calls from 0203 026 9972, but every time I answer, they hang up. It's frustrating as I can't seem to return the call to uncover who they are.

Received a call from this lot at twenty past two today. They didn’t provide any details at all - how presumptuous of them to reach out! I’ve since blocked the number on my phone, so fingers crossed, I won't be bothered by them anymore.

I've been receiving calls from this number multiple times a week, and just recently, they inquired about my pension. I made it clear that my financial matters are none of their business! It feels rather odd, especially considering I've just hung up my boots after retiring. Could it be that there's someone out there peddling personal information?

I’ve just gone through the comments above and noticed the claims suggesting that it has come to a halt. However, I can definitely confirm that it’s very much still ongoing.

They claimed to represent the Wealth Preservation Office and rambled on for a bit regarding pensions. Apparently, I should expect some Government materials concerning auto-enrolment to arrive shortly. It’d be quite helpful, but considering I’m currently out of work, I'm not sure how much it’ll benefit me!

I received a call from a woman claiming to be with the World Preservation Society, similar to what happened with 57719. Upon mentioning that I'm on the Telephone Preference Service list, she promptly ended the conversation. Genuine organisations typically express some regret for any disturbance. These sorts of calls are quite bothersome, to say the least. Cheers, John

I stumbled upon this number while perusing my True Call Log, but they were unable to clear the screening process so they hung up. Clearly, they’re targeting a list of elderly individuals. It's rather suspicious that I received this call just days after the DWP informed me that my state pension won’t kick in until I’m 66 (I’m only 56 at the moment). Makes one ponder whether the agency handling DWP’s mail is perhaps leaking or selling information - or am I just being overly cautious? Honestly, do invest in a TrueCall device; it’s an absolute game-changer! You’ll find yourself unbothered by nuisance calls like never before - the best purchase I’ve made! 😊

Received a call from someone claiming to be with the World Press Office, who wanted to send me some information regarding pension changes tailored to my situation. They insisted I verify my name and address, which I decided to overlook. When I probed them as to why they were contacting me about my pension, they clarified that it wasn't pertaining to my personal pension. That’s when I told them if they wished to send me any details, they could simply drop it in the post! To top it off, when I tried ringing the number back, it turned out to be ‘out of service’. I strongly advise against sharing any personal information - this call is definitely not legitimate!

A woman claimed she was representing a government-backed organisation focused on environmental conservation, attempting to offer assistance to individuals who met certain age criteria. I decided to end the call abruptly.

I received a call from them but chose not to stick around for an answer, so I decided to hang up. Initially, I was hoping to track down some details about the caller, yet I'm coming up empty-handed. It’s a bit unsettling to consider how they managed to obtain my number, especially since I'm not listed publicly.
