"Oi, Gordon, let's be real here. Windows doesn’t just ring you out of the blue like that! It sounds to me like you might have signed up for some dodgy support service from a third-party company. This is precisely the sort of trickery they pull-getting people to fork out cash for 'fixes' on supposed 'issues' that were never even there in the first place!"

I received a call from someone claiming to be from India, saying there was an issue with my Windows system. When I asked for clarification on who they were, they gave me this number. They then asked if I would grant their technical team remote access to my computer. Naturally, I declined their request.

I recently had a conversation with Gordon from Sutherland regarding some pesky computer troubles we’ve been encountering. Thankfully, the team over at Windows tech support jumped in and efficiently tackled our issues. They got rid of some nasty files hampering our system’s performance. We’re absolutely chuffed with the assistance provided!

We've just had the very same experience! A company claiming to be windowssupportonline.com rang us up, their accent was definitely foreign and they insisted they were calling from Australia. They wanted us to remove some so-called 'prefetch malware' from our computer. We stayed wise to their game, shared no personal details, and carried on with our computer untouched. It all felt a bit dodgy, to be honest. I really hope there’s a straightforward method to check with Windows about these characters, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there wasn’t.

We've received a call from what's purported to be Windows Support Online, claiming that our computer has picked up a virus. Utter nonsense, if you ask me. As soon as the phone rang, we knew it was nothing more than a scam designed to prey on unsuspecting individuals in the hopes of extracting some cash. Just a word of caution: these folks are dodgy and highly manipulative. It's quite alarming how persistent they can be, so stay sharp!
