I got a call from someone with an asian accent, but they never said who they were or what company they were ringing from. Just an unexpected call out of nowhere.

This number has been ringing me quite a few times, but whenever I answer, the person on the other end just disconnects straight away.

Got a call from this number earlier and no one said a word on the other end.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent trying to sell me a mobile phone deal. Honestly, these people shouldn’t just get off with being sent back. Also, foreign firms really shouldn’t be able to pretend their numbers are local. It just feels dodgy.

I got the wrong phone sent to me too, but they actually got in touch again and sent the correct one out after I told them. They swapped it without much hassle.

It took only a couple days for the phone to arrive but it wasn’t the one I ordered. I returned it and the correct model was with me the very next day. I told a mate about it and ended up scoring a gift hamper for the referral. Would definitely recommend!

They pretend to be from Carphone Warehouse, but it’s a total scam. They say they’ll clear off your contract if you let them proceed, then start asking for your card details. After that, they want the code your bank texts you to verify the payment. If you give it to them, they set up a contract with Tesco Mobile, which is strange because the real Carphone Warehouse never works with Tesco. To make matters worse, they deliberately send you the wrong phone so you end up sending something valuable to them, but you never get anything back. Oh, and by the way, no legitimate phone company will ever reach out to you via WhatsApp!

Seems like I've received a call from a call centre based in Pakistan, falsely claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse.

I gotta say, they're real! My phone and SIM arrived at my place just like they said, all within three days. Pretty impressed, honestly.

I ended up receiving the phone but the SIM wasn’t in the box. Had to place another order for the SIM separately.

I ordered an iPhone 12 and guess what? It arrived the very next day. Pretty impressed with the quick delivery!

Got a call from someone saying they were from Carphone Warehouse with an unbelievable offer on the newest iPhone. I told them I still had 18 months left on my contract and was paying just £10 monthly, then they suddenly switched to a “better deal” for the same price but with an iPhone 11 thrown in, wanting to take over my current contract. I didn’t share any more info since it all felt kinda fishy to me!

They wanted me to pay like 40 quid straight away for an iPhone 12 or 13, total con if you ask me. Said something about taking on my old contract but felt dodgy as hell. Honestly, these people deserve to be in jail for cheating folks like that.

Some bloke with an Indian accent rang me up claiming I could grab an iPhone 13 for just £30 a month. When I told him "Oi, you’re a scammer," he started getting really rude and abusive down the line.

Got a call from someone pitching what sounded like an unbelievable offer. They said they’d take over my current contract and I could get any new phone I want with unlimited calls and data for just £45 a month. Told them to call back later so I have time to verify who they really are.

I've come across this as well. No doubt about it, it's a total scam!
