Well, would you look at that? A delightful message claiming I've secured a holiday on Mars or some other outrageous nonsense. Do yourself a favour and hang up the phone!

Honestly, it’s quite baffling why we keep receiving calls from these folks. Given our hearing difficulties, it’s a bit of a plight really; we would love to pick up the phone and engage in a conversation, but sadly that’s just not feasible! What on earth could they possibly need to discuss with us? It’s quite perplexing!

Earlier today, we received a couple of calls-one at around 4 o'clock and the second just after 7:15. Consequently, we filed our initial complaint through the Telephone Preference Service, and shortly after the second call, we put in another complaint. I've since received an email suggesting that we reach out to the Information Commissioner’s Office, which I have now done.

I recently received a message saying I’d won a holiday in the Caribbean and to press nine for further information. I didn’t press the button, but I’m quite curious about what might have unfolded had I done so.

We've been getting a fair few calls from that number lately.

I've just received this rather suspicious message claiming I've won a holiday to the Caribbean. It instructed me to press nine to claim my prize, and of course, it was an automated American voice. Now I'm left pondering, what on earth occurs if I actually do press nine? I've flagged this to the Chief Technical Officer.

We’ve just received a call telling us we’ve bagged ourselves a cruise holiday, and all we need to do is press nine to claim our reward!

We used to have that phone number at our residence, but it's utterly unfamiliar to us! When we attempted to call using Typetalk due to our hearing difficulties, there wasn’t a single response! It felt rather odd getting a call from someone we didn’t know.

Honestly, we're utterly fed up with these pesky companies. It's incredibly frustrating to report them, only for nothing to happen. So much for supposedly having options with unlisted numbers!

I receive incessant calls from this number claiming I've won a holiday or some such nonsense, you know, the usual cruise hype and all that. It's utterly infuriating as there's no way to return their calls. It's a right pain in the neck! Honestly, these callers are becoming even more bothersome than persistent double glazing salespeople and those dreaded spam emails. Someone ought to put an end to this madness!

Absolutely, it’s definitely a scam without a doubt. I'll be notifying the authorities about it, but honestly, I wouldn’t expect much action. We just seem to keep waiting, which ultimately ends up costing them money for a ring without having to bother with pressing the nine, naturally. There must be countless folks out there who’ve supposedly secured a 'fantasy holiday in Florida' - pure nonsense, if you ask me.

As someone who values their privacy and has opted for an unlisted number, these sorts of calls are quite unwelcome. Being a widow and living by myself, I find it rather unsettling to receive such unwanted attention. It's quite disconcerting, really.

We recently received a similar call, claiming we had secured a lavish cruise holiday. They instructed us to press nine to claim our so-called prize. Spoiler alert: we haven't won anything!

I received one of those pre-recorded messages claiming, "Congratulations, you've bagged yourself a holiday in Florida!” We didn’t bother hearing the full spiel and just hung up straight away. I've also filed a complaint with the ICO regarding this matter.
