I found myself in a bit of a pickle with a rather dodgy number, 990, that's left me feeling a bit aggrieved. They took exactly 50 pence from me. What would you recommend I do about this situation?

I received a rather dubious call from this number. Initially, they rang me from a withheld number, which was rather suspicious. Then, they started throwing around different names and company details, which only added to my unease. They also mentioned an address and a supposed licence number. In the end, it became clear that they were trying to extract money from me as a so-called guarantor. Oddly, they insisted they didn’t want payment via card and instead mentioned something about a Ukash voucher, which raised all sorts of red flags. This whole encounter felt utterly fraudulent. I urge everyone to tread carefully out there!

Blimey, I just forked out £120 to these con artists, and now they’re after another £350 because our credit rating isn’t up to scratch. Our mates suggested we check them out, and lo and behold, this is what I uncovered. Seriously, steer clear of this lot! I’m now planning to get in touch with the coppers. Absolutely outrageous!

Steer clear of this, it's a complete scam! We got duped out of £1200, and now both the police and our bank are looking into it. There wasn't even a legitimate company behind it, and another name that came up was Shark Finance. It seems there are countless fraudulent websites out there. Don't make the same mistake we did!

These individuals are calling themselves representatives of a loan company, but they are nothing more than con artists. They managed to swindle me out of £250 by claiming that my funds were frozen until I settled some dubious tax fee. When you get a call from someone named Ring Em or James, be extremely cautious and don’t divulge any personal information or comply with their requests. They're out to mislead you, so do not fall for their ruse!

Despite forking out £200 for the loan, we were told twice by these individuals that the Ukash voucher we provided was completely illegitimate. Now they’re back, asking for even more cash! Listen, we’ve already involved the police, and they’re looking into this situation. My advice? Steer clear of these dodgy characters!

What a scam this turned out to be! An absolute rip-off, if ever there was one! If you're considering parting with your cash, just don’t do it! It’s crucial to notify your local authorities about this. Stay vigilant and don't fall for their tricks!

I’ve just had the most bewildering experience! Do yourself a favour and steer clear of these fraudsters! This afternoon, I received a call from them offering a loan, but they insisted I cough up the first instalment right away. Thankfully, I didn’t hand over a penny and reached out to my broker instead. Turns out, these folks are nothing but a sham, and there's even a police investigation underway! Legitimate companies never demand payment upfront like that. Just a heads up to everyone out there - stay vigilant!

Received a call from a loan company named Loan-Call Direct. I'd advise you to steer clear of sharing any personal details or parting with any cash-it's a scam! Seriously, they're not genuine! Do not, under any circumstances, consent to any payment! Please, for your safety, notify your local authorities. The lot is based at Loan Ring Direct Ltd., 208 Hart Lane, Luton, Bedfordshire, LU2 0J. Stay alert, folks!

We fell victim to a right dodgy character who fleeced us of £670, and now it’s in the hands of the authorities. Honestly, lads and lasses, steer clear of these people! If she feeds you the address 208 Hart Lane, Luton, LU20JH, do yourself a favour and check it out on a map. It's just a residential place! What’s more, the whole operation is run by a bunch of con artists who have Western names - like Sarah Summer, Tracy, and Harry. Talk about absurd!

Many thanks, chaps! You've saved us a pretty penny before we got roped in. We suspected something was off when a foreign lass named Jennifer gave us a bell. I can’t be the only one wondering how many foreign girls go by the name Jennifer, right? Anyway, this bloke wanted us to fork out £140 for a UK cash card, promising he’d release the funds afterwards. What an utter nerve!

Great job, team! Keep up the excellent work! If anyone has been a victim of her taking money, please report it to Trading Standards. I'm also bringing this to the attention of the watchdogs. These folks assured us they'd be of assistance. What truly irks us is that she has taken money from our children's accounts. We demand that she faces the consequences!

Earlier today, we encountered a chap who introduced himself as James Wilson. Honestly, it feels like something straight out of a dodgy film. The usual red flags popped up: his credit rating was well below par, and he couldn’t come up with a guarantor. To top it all off, he insisted we cough up two weeks' worth of payments in advance, promising that the dosh would land in our account within an hour! For the love of all that's decent, steer clear of these people! It's a complete ruse, nothing but a scam! Con artists, no doubt!

We got caught up in this and ended up forking out £400 to them, which unfortunately has landed us in deeper financial trouble. We're just beginning this journey and would really appreciate some guidance. Can anyone point us in the direction of a legitimate loan provider?
