Received a rather irritating call from someone claiming to represent Carphone Warehouse, but I wasn’t having any of it. I firmly told him to shove off and ended the conversation before he could utter another word. Immediately, I blocked his number. It’s the same old story, these chaps seem to think they’re clever enough to ring you up from the heart of London, no less! It absolutely gets my goat that these unscrupulous individuals believe it's acceptable to try and con hard-working folks, especially during the festive season when people are already stressed. It really gets under my skin!

Received a call from an Indian bloke purporting to be from Car Phone Warehouse. I quickly told him he was talking nonsense and that he should jog on. I didn't let him get another word in, just hung up and blocked his number. Same old nuisance, though. It's quite remarkable how these characters manage to ring you up from the middle of the street in London. It really gets my goat that these unscrupulous muppets consider it their prerogative to rip people off. It’s frustrating any day of the year, but even more so around this festive period! 😡

The call began with him asking pretty standard stuff like if I read the papers and which age group I’m in. Then he tried to get my address and postcode, but I said I didn’t feel okay sharing that.
