020 3011 0672 I got a call from someone claiming to be British Gas saying there was an issue with my gas meter not sending automatic readings and they needed to send an engineer out. The way they talked didn't sound professional at all. Also, my gas meter actually doesn’t send readings automatically, even though I’m with British Gas. I guess lots of others are in the same boat though.

Got a call from 0203110672 today, some Indian guy from Millenium Talk claiming they could cut costs on line rental. He mentioned Openreach, but I'm pretty sure they ain't linked. I answered a couple questions, but felt something was off, so told him I’m wary of sharing details over the phone and asked for an email. He said, "I already have all your details," which was honestly a bit creepy! Ended the call straight away. They rang again twice after but I just ignored it.

This number rings our tiny business pretty much daily. We’ve tried not answering, told them we don’t need their service, and nicely asked them to take us off their call lists. Now we’ve decided to just have a bit of fun with it - saying ‘hi’ repeatedly and chatting to the caller in German, asking if they understand it. When they call again (likely tomorrow), I’m thinking of telling them we don’t even have a phone in the office, so their service wouldn’t do us any good.

This number has phoned me at least 50 times now, always pushing cheaper line rental and going on about terms and conditions. The caller is an Indian man calling himself Kevin. Really stubborn bloke, doesn’t back off. We’d already blocked the first number he rang from (Egypt). I’ve tried leaving the phone off the hook, answering then hanging up, ignoring him - still he keeps calling. Today I finally told him to stop and he got quite angry. I just hung up, hoping that’s the end of it. Does anyone know what they’re hoping to gain from this?

This number has rung me probably about 50 times by now, always chatting about cheaper line rental and going on about terms and conditions. The bloke on the line calls himself Kevin and sounds like he’s from India. He’s really stubborn and won’t take no for an answer. At first, he was calling from an Egyptian number but we blocked that one. I’ve tried leaving the receiver off the hook, answering then hanging up, ignoring it altogether - but he keeps going. Today I finally told him enough’s enough and he got annoyed. I just hung up after that, so I’m hoping it stops now. What do these callers actually get out of pestering people like this? Anyone know?

Haha, what a load of rubbish. They claimed to be calling from "London" coz its summer there but wouldn't admit what they were after or trying to push on me. They kept saying it wasnt a sales call, so I messed around with them for a good 6 minutes till they just gave in and ended the call. Proper cheeky!

Got a ring from this number around half past five in the morning. I asked the bloke if he realised how early it was, and he just ended the call straight away. The caller ID showed the call was coming from Connecticut.

This number rang me earlier today. A guy quickly jumped on the line claiming he could help me cut costs on my business phone. He said he found my contact through ThomsonLocal - I’ve got a virtual landline listed that forwards to my mobile. Since I don’t really use the landline for calls, I just hung up and blocked the number on my phone.

I've been getting loads of calls from this number too, and my phone says it's coming from Egypt. Every time I pick up, there's nobody there and I don’t get any voicemails when I end the call. Would definitely recommend ignoring it.

02030110672, someone called rias from millennium talk for the second time today. I told him twice already that I'm tied into a contract with another provider, but he just kept going. I asked to speak to his manager but apparently no one was about. I told him to remove my number about four times, got fed up and ended the call. They really dont know when to stop, cant take a simple no.

I tried to get in touch with the person in charge, but was told he wasn’t available at that location. They offered me another number to try instead. As soon as I asked for it, she just ended the call. When I rang back, it went straight to an answerphone saying the line was busy and to leave a message, but then it said there was no room left for messages and cut off.
