Somebody phoned me saying they’d done a search and found my loft insulation was the old yellow fluffy kind which was rubbish. But that’s not true at all - I’ve got proper energy-saving insulation, the thermalite blocks, fitted after some building work. I checked and there’s nowhere that shows their phone number is connected to my address, so this call was just a guess, nothing real behind it. They tried to make it sound official but it was clearly just a random cold call from a bit of a spiv, so watch out for this type of call.

I've been getting calls from this number every day post five o'clock, yet they don't bother to leave a voicemail. Quite puzzling, really!

Received a dodgy call about loft insulation today. The voice was so artificial, it felt like I was speaking to a robot. They claimed to be my local energy consultant, trying to tempt me with a complimentary inspection of my loft insulation. Clearly, it was just another scam!
