Just got a call from 01994692126 or maybe it was 02030078741 claiming I can get a 30% discount with EE. Thing is, I’m on a fixed deal so my bill can’t drop or rise. EE wouldn’t ring from such a sketchy number, nor would they give out discounts like that even if they were trying to keep customers. Feels like a total scam to me.

It’s definitely a dodgy call. The number 02030078741 from London rings me, and I checked, they also use numbers like 01994692126 in St Clears. They get in touch claiming to be from EE, saying you’ve been 'selected' to get 30% off your bill. They ask for details to 'verify' so they can lower your costs. Seems to be because EE has lost loads of customers lately due to the pricey bills. Don’t trust ’em!

I asked who it was, they said they were from Three network but I’m already a customer there so I just ended the call. The guy had a really strong Indian accent.
