I got a call about renewing some appliance insurance, claiming it’d be £100 less since I hadn’t made any claims. Thing is, I don’t even have that insurance! I told them to just go ahead and renew with whatever info they had. After a bit of back and forth, the caller got proper irritated, started cursing, and then just dropped the call.

Got a call about renewing some warranty on my kitchen stuff. Told them I dont have any coverage like that so nothing to renew. Then they said oh, its actually for a new policy. I calmly said I never sign up for those, but they kept pushing so I had to just hang up.

Called saying they handle kitchen appliance insurance and that mine has expired. I highly doubt it, since I get mine straight from where I bought the appliances. Sounds like a complete scam to me.
