FRAUDULENT TRAVEL AGENCY - I conducted a standard search for flight fares online and stumbled upon a company linked to this number. I went ahead and secured my tickets, paying in full. However, on the very day I was meant to depart, the agent claimed my flight was cancelled, although both Heathrow and the airline still indicated the flight was operational. It seems the agent took it upon themselves to cancel my tickets and pocket my payment. Now, they're completely unresponsive; my calls and emails have gone unanswered. The airline confirmed that a reservation was indeed initiated, yet no payment was made, so no ticket was ever issued to me or the agent.

I got a call from someone saying they work at Star Alliance’s call centre. They were trying to peddle some travel tickets and wanted my debit card details. But weirdly, they wouldn’t give me any email address or proper contact info unless I paid up first. Seemed really dodgy to me.
