Heads up about Souza Healthcare, folks!

Souza Healthcare is behind this number and they'll claim they care about your wellbeing, pushing you to buy their pills which are just overpriced vitamins. Once you purchase something, they won't stop bothering you with calls. Don’t fall for their tricks. I've put their number on blacklist with my new TrueCall blocker to make sure they can't ring me anymore.

Someone called up my missus pretending to offer some product for £19.99, but weirdly they already knew bits about her health. It felt dodgy how much they seemed to know. She was careful and didn’t hand over any card or cheque details. Then they put some ‘manager’ on the call who also tried to get info, but when that didn’t work, they just hung up on her. The voices sounded like a Troy with an Indian accent and a bloke named Jason running the show. Where on earth do these people get this info from?

For the past three days, this number has been ringing me daily. The caller, a man who spoke with an Indian accent, somehow knew my last name and was oddly friendly, almost a bit too much. When I asked what the purpose of the call was, he said he just wanted to check on my health. Still, he kept pushing with questions that made me quite uncomfortable, so I had to hang up. It’s scary how they manage to get your name and phone number like that. (Never share your card or banking info!)

I just got a call from these guys and didn't even pick up. I've got my phone set to instantly go to voicemail with a message saying no business calls will be taken. After looking up the number here, it’s clear they’re fraudsters. When will the authorities actually do something to stop these awful scams?

I've no idea who this is, so I just ignore any calls from this number.

This number has rung me thrice over the past few days, with someone named "Vincent" pestering me about how I'm feeling. I told him that if anything's wrong health-wise, I'll bring it up with my doctor. Honestly, Vincent sounds so rude and pushy - definitely not my GP!

This number has been ringing me loads, the caller says his name is Derek but he sounds like he’s from Asia. I told him I wasn’t interested in his medicine, yet he kept calling me back :( He mentioned some cream by name and told me you can’t get it in normal health stores, only through them. I ended the call when I figured out it was a scam. I’m 76 years old.

I got a call from these folks and ended up agreeing to buy a month’s supply for about £14. Later, when I checked my bank statement, I noticed they’d taken nearly £365! I returned everything to them, but they still haven’t refunded me. Really frustrating!

This afternoon I got a rather long call from a man named Angelo, who sounded like he might be of Indian background, claiming to be from Souza Healthcare. He was going on about a rosehip product that supposedly helps with arthritis and mentioned a special deal for £15. He also said they’d call me back regularly to check on how I was doing with it. The number he gave matched the one above, but the address he told me was Unit 26, Upper Dunberry Lane, Belfast, BD7 0HD - which doesn’t match the details on their official website. When I asked if he needed my bank info, he first said no, then suddenly asked for my debit card number. I wasn’t having any of it and hung up. Definitely suspicious call - trust me, don’t hand over your card details to anyone calling out of the blue!

I keep getting calls all the time from strangers overseas, obviously scams. Best thing to do is just hang up straight away and dont bother talking to them.

I reckon this was the outfit that kept ringing up trying to shove Rosehip Syrup or some dodgy stuff like that. Since I bought a Truecall call blocker, none of those scam calls get past it anymore. Honestly, I'm glad me mum is safe from all these shady phone calls now.

Absolute con artists! They called my dad, who's quite old, saying he needed these pills to help with his mobility problems. He ended up giving them his card details, and the pills showed up soon after. I looked into what was actually in them and even asked his doctor about it, and apparently, he shouldn’t be on those pills at all. They might even mess with his current meds and be dangerous!

I got a call from a company saying they were Souza Healthcare, which is actually a small outfit based in Wembley. They push expensive vitamin pills and pomegranate supplements. Feels like they're preying on people who might not be able to tell better. A dietitian named Alison Hornby, who speaks for the BDA, mentioned that the proof about pomegranates being good for health just isn't clear yet. She pointed out: "Some research hints at possible benefits, but nothing definitive has been proven. The few studies showing improvements in health were tiny, so we definitely need more thorough research to understand how pomegranate might really help."

My 82-year-old dad, who’s hard of hearing and just lost his wife, got caught up in a scam. They talked him into buying these dodgy pomegranate pills, charging nearly £300! They sent him enough for three years, but they’ll go off in just one. Absolutely ridiculous.

In the afternoon of 5th December 2013, my 84-year-old mum got a call from someone named Dora, claiming to be from Healthcare. She was told if she bought rosehip capsules, she'd no longer need her walking stick! Apparently, these capsules weren’t available in stores and had to be specially ordered. Dora initially said they were £30, then dropped the price to £14.90 because mum is a pensioner. When they asked for her card details, mum said she’d rather send a cheque once the capsules arrived. They replied that cheques aren’t safe, and then mum said she didn’t want them after all. Without a word, the caller just hung up on her!

Got a call supposedly from Steve Coster at some 'health care unit' saying stuff about vitamins then tried to get my mum’s credit card number. Honestly, I reckon you should just make a loud noise down the phone and then block that number for good!
