When I insisted I hadn’t been involved in any mishap, they claimed otherwise, which was quite baffling. I pointed out that they shouldn't possess my number in the first place and pressed them to reveal who’d handed it over to them. Before I could get a proper answer, they abruptly ended the call. Quite infuriating, really!

I received a call today from someone purporting to be with an accident compensation firm. I decided to humour them for a bit, but then they started pushing me to log onto my computer and check my emails. No way was I falling for that! It’s a bit alarming, really, as not everyone may be tech-savvy enough to see through such ruses, and they definitely seemed quite persuasive.
