Got a couple of texts followed by a phone call, but I ignored the call. The message said something like “41.68 GBP spent at Eldorado, INDONESIA. Reply Y if you did this. Reply N if you didn’t. Charges might apply if you’re outside the UK.” I’ve no cash in my account and Barclays didn’t flag any declined payments, so it’s clearly a scam. Even if they tried, there’s nothing for them to get.

Just had a scam call claiming to be from Barclays, and it was so convincing! They had all my details, like my full address, bank account info, and even which tablet I use - how on earth did they get that? I’m usually super cautious, so this really freaked me out. Initially, I thought it must be a scam, but to double check I dialled the number for my bank’s support that I found myself, not the one that called me. Turns out it was legit - they told me there were two tries to use my card without authorisation. Thankfully, their security flagged both tries and stopped them.
