I just got a call from this number too, but the person on the other end sounded like a lady from somewhere in Asia, probably India or Pakistan. She had an English name, something like Melissa, which seemed odd because her English was really poor. That’s when I realised it was a scam. If you get a call from this number, don’t answer or just hang up and definitely make sure to report it to the post office as soon as you can.

Just like loads of others here, I got a call from a bloke claiming to be from Royal Mail, saying a parcel of mine was delivered to the wrong place three times and they needed my address again. Since when does Royal Mail ring people?! I told him it sounded dodgy. The weird part was, he even had my email along with my phone number. Then they called me “Mrs,” so I asked if they thought I was a woman - after that, the chat got blocked and I couldn’t start another conversation. I wanted to push them a bit to see what lengths these scammers go to. It was a bit risky, but I feel better knowing how they operate. Don’t trust this number, it’s a total scam. Someone rang claiming to be from the Royal Mail sorting centre and even knew my name.
