This number has called me a few times before, so I decided to send it straight to my BT 1572 voicemail. Oddly enough, they don’t bother leaving a clear message - it’s just a bit of silence, then suddenly a woman’s voice comes on sounding really crappy, saying “goodbye.” Proper strange.

Picked up the phone and there was dead silence. Then, not long after, another call came through from a different number with some person trying to offload rubbish stuff.

Been getting loads of calls non stop, always rubbish ones asking for my bank info saying they wanna give me a refund but it feels like they’re just trying to nick my money. So annoying!

this guy called me, his english was terrible and he said his name was robert, claiming he worked for the telephone preference service. he said i needed to pay a fee to block spam calls from abroad. i told him i’d just looked up his number on who called me and called him out as a scammer trying to scam me. he ended the call straight away.

I got a call from a woman, sounded like she might have been Asian, asking if I owned the house. I told her I was actually a thief and she was bothering me by asking about the safe. She just ended the call after that.

Got a call earlier but no one spoke at the other end. Really annoying when that happens!

At 09:39, got a call from 0202606 1079 saying they were from telephone preference, apologising about nuisance calls still coming through! They said they’d refund me £24.95 for some charge I never even paid. Then they tried to ask for my bank details. I work in banking, so obviously didn’t give them anything. This sort of thing really needs to be cracked down on.

I've tried picking up the last two calls within the past quarter of an hour, but couldn't get through, so no clue who it was ringing me.

Got a call from someone saying they were with BT, but when I questioned them, they just said they worked for them. They asked if I’d stopped getting unwanted calls (except this one, I guess) and tried to get my debit card info. I’d heard of the telephone preference service before, so when I pushed back, they just hung up. Definitely a con, especially since numbers starting with 020 2xxx 0x aren’t even real.

Sometimes I wonder about these tiny little things that just dont make sense in life.

Someone rang me, saying my washing machine warranty was nearly up and offered to extend it for another four years. I told them everything in my house is already covered, but even as I was hanging up, they kept trying to convince me to stay on the line. These sorts of calls happen all the time now, mostly from 0203 area codes.

They keep calling my number loads of times, but whenever I pick up, no one ever talks. I'm really fed up with it now.

They called me saying they wanted to insure my washing machine. Felt fishy to me, like just another scam trying to get my bank info. Definitely wouldn't trust it!
