Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent first thing on Saturday morning at 9am! I’m on the TPS register but he obviously didn’t care. He had my name but an outdated postcode, so looks like they’re working off some dodgy old database. Told him quite firmly to buzz off and quit ringing me.

Got a call where they wanted me to confirm my name and asked if I had Sky, then they just cut off. I’ve reported it to the ICO.

They tried calling me a few times today but I just let it ring out. When it went to voicemail, they ended the call straight away. A few days ago, someone claiming to be from "Microsoft" called from a different number and told me to turn my computer on, even though it already was switched on. Definitely sounded dodgy to me.

This number keeps calling me but stays silent, just waiting for me to answer and say my name before cutting off straight away. It’s really annoying! Does anyone know where I can complain about these calls?

I got a call from 020205886621, and a lady on the line asked if she was speaking to her own number. I told her yes, that's right. She just said thanks and ended the call.

I've gotten a bunch of calls from this number, but whenever I pick up, there's just silence. Has anyone else tried ringing back? I gave it a go and all I got was this weird buzzing noise. It's really annoying. I'm 63 and don't want to be chasing after phone calls all day. Honestly, this should be reported to the proper authorities.

They keep ringing me up asking for my missus, and whenever I ask what it’s about, they just drop the call straight away.

Not sure who it was, but the number was 02020686621. I rarely pick up calls from my home phone, only if there's an issue with my mobile. I only share my mobile number with mates or people I trust. I’d suggest ignoring those landline calls unless you know the number. Either unplug the phone or let your answerphone handle it. You can always record a cheeky message telling them to jog on, something like “please go away” but more colourful if you fancy!

I picked up the phone and before I could say anything, they just ended the call.

Spoke to a really pushy bloke with an Indian accent who was totally unclear about his reason for calling. Kept asking him to say his name over and over but he just wouldn’t do it. Then he started saying I couldn’t speak ‘eelingleesh’ and called me an idiot loads of times just because I kept asking who he was. Tried to ring back to report him but the number didn’t come up at all. Felt really harassing and a bit sketchy, honestly!

For years now I've been getting calls from this number, sometimes a bloke with an Indian accent, other times a lady, always wanting to chat to someone called John Ross. I've told them loads of times that no one's called that at my place, but they just keep ringing. Finally, today I got the chance to note down the number.

Had a really pushy man with an Indian accent asking to talk to my 14 year old by his name. When I asked where he was ringing from he said Manchester. I then asked why he wanted to speak to my son. Suddenly he asked if we had broadband. I replied we did, he said thanks for that and then just ended the call. Quite strange really.

Got a call from an Indian bloke who sounded pretty pushy, said he was with Sky. Didn’t really give any proper info or explain why he was ringing. Ended the call real quick, didn’t get the chance to use my normal tricks for dodging spam calls (not gonna share those here!). Feels like they were maybe just testing info before planning something dodgy.

I got a call from someone with an Indian accent who said they were from Microsoft, warning me my Windows computer was at risk. It felt really dodgy and like they were trying to trick someone who might not be so careful. Definitely seemed like a scam.

This number keeps ringing my house phone, which is odd since we hardly ever use it and no one really knows it. The guy on the other end was an angry Indian man who refused to explain why he was calling. I just told him to get lost.

Got a really pushy bloke with an Indian accent on the phone asking nonstop about my Sky account. When I started throwing questions right back at him, he suddenly just cut me off and said something like "you’re the one losing out". Proper awkward call.

Got a call from some lot who already had my name and postcode sorted, even though the phone bill’s under someone else’s name. Pretty sure someone's sold my details. This time it was a Sky scam. I told them where to go, and honestly, wish they would buzz off for good.

It was clear straight away this was some sort of scammer. The man on the phone, who said his name was Jordan Knos, got really nasty when I told him I wasn’t going to switch on my laptop. After I ended the first call, he rang me back, and when I asked him to stop calling, he threatened to keep ringing me every single minute of the day. For about 30 minutes after that, my phone kept buzzing with calls, even though I didn’t answer. Honestly, being sworn at and shouted at like that was pretty awful. I’d seriously advise everyone to avoid picking up if this number comes up.

Got a call from some Indian bloke who couldn’t quite catch my name. I corrected him with a quick “Not Dennis,” and he went on asking if I had Sky. Felt like he was aiming for some sort of Sky hack or scam, didn’t fall for it though. After I thanked him, I jokingly said, “Hope you’re not one of those scammers, welcome to the cyber police!” Hopefully, that made him think twice!

When I asked "who's that?" she replied with "your mum" - couldn't tell if I hung up first or her. Such awful folks, definitely not someone to trust. I'll be marking them as ‘dangerous’ on your list since their intentions seem really bad.

I've had them ringing me non stop, both at my job and from my house. They seem pretty dodgy to me. Honestly, I wouldn't share any personal details about where you live or work with them. Definitely not a reliable bunch.

Some bloke kept asking if it was me and started rambling about my Sky box. After a few tries to get info out of me, I was about to tell him he was talking nonsense and that I don’t even have one - but he hung up just before I could say rubbish. Honestly, I’m fed up with these calls, hope they do something to stop them soon.

This was pretty unsettling, an Indian bloke who seemed a bit pushy called me. He actually knew my name and was pressing me to verify my postcode. I told him he had the wrong info, then he just ended the call. The scary part? Turns out he was spot on with my details. Anyone know how I can block this number?

Got a call from someone giving the name "Daniel," claiming to be from a funeral service. He was asking specifically for my wife by her name. It was pretty early too, around 8:40 in the morning! I told him to stop calling, especially at that hour. After seeing other comments about this number, my wife was worried they might be preying on elderly folks who might be more vulnerable. I’ve since reported the call to the TPS since our landline’s been on their list for yonks.

My phone rings nearly every day with one very impolite lady claiming to be my mum, or some bloke who’s super rude and won’t stop asking me to confirm my name. He’s always after my husband’s info, then just hangs up when I ask what company they’re calling from. I’m about ready to report them for this! Because of these calls, I’ve stopped picking up my landline altogether.

Got calls two days running from the same number about my computer. First time I answered in Welsh, but the bloke just ended the call. Tried again the next day and I spoke to him in French - got cut off again! Think next time I’ll try giving him some German interpretation and see what happens!

They kept pestering me about the brand of my washing machine and seemed to know both mine and my husband's names.
