Not sure who it was, but the number was 02020686621. I rarely pick up calls from my home phone, only if there's an issue with my mobile. I only share my mobile number with mates or people I trust. I’d suggest ignoring those landline calls unless you know the number. Either unplug the phone or let your answerphone handle it. You can always record a cheeky message telling them to jog on, something like “please go away” but more colourful if you fancy!

Had a really pushy man with an Indian accent asking to talk to my 14 year old by his name. When I asked where he was ringing from he said Manchester. I then asked why he wanted to speak to my son. Suddenly he asked if we had broadband. I replied we did, he said thanks for that and then just ended the call. Quite strange really.

It was clear straight away this was some sort of scammer. The man on the phone, who said his name was Jordan Knos, got really nasty when I told him I wasn’t going to switch on my laptop. After I ended the first call, he rang me back, and when I asked him to stop calling, he threatened to keep ringing me every single minute of the day. For about 30 minutes after that, my phone kept buzzing with calls, even though I didn’t answer. Honestly, being sworn at and shouted at like that was pretty awful. I’d seriously advise everyone to avoid picking up if this number comes up.

Got a call from someone giving the name "Daniel," claiming to be from a funeral service. He was asking specifically for my wife by her name. It was pretty early too, around 8:40 in the morning! My phone rings nearly every day with one very impolite lady claiming to be my mum, or some bloke who’s super rude and won’t stop asking me to confirm my name. He’s always after my husband’s info, then just hangs up when I ask what company they’re calling from. I’m about ready to report them for this!
