I got a call from a guy, sounded like he was from BT or something, but I could hardly catch what he was saying. Asked him to go over stuff a few times. Then he said he needed me to get on my computer, but I told him no chance and just hung up. If I can't even understand the bloke properly, there's no way I'm letting him into my computer! What a tosser!

Got a call from someone claiming to be Chris at BT again. Pretty sure it’s just another dodgy scam.

Got a call from a guy named David, sounded Asian, said he was from BT Openreach. He told me my internet had been hacked, which was a bit odd since we use satellite broadband. He kept saying our IP was compromised, so I asked him what my IP actually was, to see if he really knew. That seemed to annoy him quite a bit. I wasn’t being rude, but I wasn’t exactly friendly either after that.

Got a call from 02017946824, some bloke with an Asian accent saying he was from BT and needed to fix my internet. I told him to stop calling me, but he started acting all threatening, saying my internet would be disconnected in an hour if I didn’t listen. I told him I don’t even use BT, then I just hung up. I made sure to report the number to actionfraud afterwards.

Got a ring from some Indian call centre pretending to be BT. They said someone overseas was using my IP address. I asked for a phone number to call them back but they just gave me 020 268 54 629. Didn't bother ringing them back in the end.

I got a call from some folks claiming to be with BT Openreach saying my computer was hacked. Sounded like a total scam trying to get into my PC. The person couldn’t really explain much properly, so I just ended the call. Pretty obvious hacking trick if you ask me.
