I received a call from a number purporting to be from Scotland, stating there was a technical issue with my meter reading and mentioned a nearby postcode. Interestingly, the caller had an Indian accent. To cut a long story short, it’s definitely a scam. They were trying to get me to allow them access to my computer through TeamViewer. When I told them I had already contacted Scottish Power and suspected their legitimacy, they promptly ended the call. Just a heads up for everyone to stay vigilant.
