Once again, I’ve been plagued by an unwelcome call from a mysterious number that’s likely generated by one of those automated dialling machines. It begs the question: why isn't there any way to trace and penalise the people behind these calls? The reason seems rather straightforward-telephone companies are raking in profits by supplying extra lines to these offenders. Honestly, where's the Ombudsman when you need them? It’s high time for some proper enforcement to track down and hit those companies with hefty fines for blatantly ignoring the rules. It’s truly disheartening to think that the number of contacts I've had to block on my phone now surpasses the actual numbers I keep saved. What a sorry state of affairs!

I received a rather intrusive call the other day, inquiring if I had been involved in a car crash, among other things. When I told them I hadn’t experienced any such incident and requested them not to ring me again, they stubbornly continued with their questioning. It’s quite baffling how they managed to get hold of my number in the first place.
