Might be a number showing as London, but it’s probably faked. A robotic voice speaks, though it feels like someone recorded it beforehand - always the same line: “This call is from British Telecom,” warning that my broadband will be cut off. Then it asks me to press 1 or 2 to stop the disconnection or chat with an engineer. Completely ridiculous since I don’t even have a BT account. Seems like a spoof to trick you into pressing a button and getting charged on a premium number without knowing. Absolutely a dodgy scam. The annoying bit is the caller ID changes every time they call.
