Got a call from some bloke with an Indian accent, wanted to speak to the business manager. I’m so over these annoying calls. Ended up just hanging up straight away.

This number keeps ringing my workplace up loads every day pretending to be from Eon. Earlier today, one of my team nicely said they weren’t interested and ended the call. Then the bloke phoned again immediately asking why she’d ended the call. When I asked to speak to the boss, he told me to f*** off not once, but twice!

Got repeated calls from this bloke with a thick Indian accent on our office number, insisting our power contract's about to end. Thing is, we're not signed with EON and definitely not cancelling anything. He rang us like three times in just one afternoon, kept ringing back without a break. Proper annoying.

I picked up and all I got was quiet on the other end... after seeing these reviews, I’m definitely gonna block this number! Really appreciate everyone who’s sharing their experiences to help us all out :0)

Absolutely terrible people. I just don't get who actually answers these scam calls. There must be folks falling for it, otherwise they wouldn’t keep ringing back.

Honestly, it feels like the whole world’s gone mad, with about 90% of folks just trying to con you every day. I just wanna make it to 99 so I can finally bugger off to the grave and forget all this rubbish.

Got a call about 5 minutes ago but it was just dead silence, so I just ended the call. I’ve had these before, they say they are from Eon and want to chat with my manager. Told them I’m not part of Eon and don’t want anything to do with it, then I hung up.

Got another call from the same guy with the dodgy English, asking to speak with my manager again. When I rang the number back, BT told me it was an unrecognised number.

Yet another rubbish scam call. You'd think the police might actually be able to trace at least the landline ones and pay a visit! Feels like the UK’s turning into the scam hotspot of the planet!

I got a call from a lady with a really hard to catch accent, kinda Indian-sounding, saying I supposedly have an account with Eon, which definitely isn't true. After she kept insisting "but our records say otherwise" for the second time, I just ended the call. These calls keep coming more and more, from all sorts of numbers. It's really frustrating since I'm on the TPS list, and honestly, it feels like one of those scam or phishing attempts.

Got a call from someone with a strong Indian accent and broken English saying they were from EON. Sounds like a typical scam to me. Best thing to do is just hang up straight away. If your phone service has the option, block the number so it can’t bother you again. From what I’ve noticed, numbers starting with 0201 are often linked to scammers. So treat any 0201 calls with suspicion. Never share any personal or bank details over the phone. If you want to be sure, look up the company’s real number in a proper directory and contact them to report the scam call.
