6 yearsReceived a call from this number yesterday, the 27th of April. It was a woman with an Indian accent, who insisted that my Amazon account had been compromised. Oddly, she didn’t state which company she was representing, certainly not Amazon itself. She claimed that someone had allegedly hacked into my account to order an iPhone priced at nearly £700, and she wanted my permission to proceed with this fictitious order. However, I haven’t made any purchases of this nature or value on Amazon, nor did I receive any notifications indicating that my details were being misused. Throughout the conversation, she pressed me to say 'yes' in order to confirm the release of this non-existent order, but I firmly told her no and accused her of scamming me, adding that I would take action against them.
