Received a call from this number on 27th April. The person on the other end was a woman with an Indian accent, who said my Amazon account had been hacked. She never mentioned working for Amazon or any official company. She claimed someone had bought an iPhone worth nearly £700 using my account and asked if I would approve the order. I haven’t bought anything like that on Amazon nor received any alerts from them about suspicious activity. The woman pretty much kept insisting I confirm to process the order, but I kept refusing, told her she was a scammer, and said I’d report them. Even though I’m supposed to be unlisted, these annoying scam calls keep coming through.
