He tried to get my personal info but already had my name, number and address. He said his legal team would ring me back within an hour to explain more. Later, another man with a thick Indian accent rang, claiming to be helping me get those bank charges back. I gave him the wrong bank name on purpose. He promised to call the next day with an update. Sure enough, he called back saying their lawyers found I could claim back £3,000 in charges, even though I never used that bank I mentioned before. They said an agent would contact me that day with my cheque and all I’d have to do was show some ID. I got suspicious and questioned the guy about the whole thing, and then the call just dropped!
