I recently received a rather peculiar call from the number (02012398760). A gentleman introduced himself as David Thomas, though his accent sounded distinctly Indian. Upon inquiring about his origins, he mentioned that he hails from India and claimed that he had adopted a British name after marrying here. He went on to insist that I switch on my computer so he could assist me in uncovering scams that he alleged had infiltrated my system. He warned me not to engage with social media or online shopping until he rectified the supposed issue. The fellow kept stressing that he was genuine and trustworthy. When I pressed for his office details in the UK, he provided the address: 23 Beach Road, Internet Security Building, Manchester, M0DR. It’s infuriating to think this individual could be out there scamming people; I truly hope he faces the consequences he deserves.
