My house phone, which is unlisted, kept ringing from different numbers. When I answered, a recorded message claimed they knew I wanted to earn extra money working from home. That’s not true at all! I’m already working long hours every day with very little time off, and home is my place to unwind. They suggested if I stayed on the call, they’d connect me to a mentor. No way am I falling for that. It’s clearly a scam. I’d warn anyone not to return the calls because they might charge a hefty fee by the minute. What about our data protection rights, eh?
