Sounds like a total scam. Some bloke said he was from cyber security and offered to fix my slow internet and errors. He asked how many lights were showing on my router and told me to switch on my PC. Then, out of nowhere, he just dropped the call! Really strange.

020 8347 5203 rang me at 9pm claiming it was about “housing disrepair”. When I asked why they were calling so late, they told me to be quiet and then hung up on me. Avoid answering if you value your peace.

Somebody rang me saying I’m about to be arrested, said they were from HMRC and wanted to know my name - it was really dodgy and honestly they should be reported and put behind bars.

020 3885 3064 rang me and when I calmly told them to stop calling, the bloke called me a rude name. A male voice said he was Alex, some financial advisor or something. I didn’t even let him continue. After that he started being nasty, so I just ended the call and blocked the number.

‭020 0200 1807‬ - total HMRC scam. The person sounded quite believable at first, maybe a lady with an Asian accent. But I caught on sharpish and flipped it back on them, threatening to report for fraud and deception. They just hung up straight away.

It’s a woman with a really odd name. Every time I answer, I ask if it’s he or she and say I think they’ve got the wrong number. Then she just hangs up, like, five times over the years! Same strange name every time. Next time, I’m just gonna say “Speaking” and see what happens lol.
