Got a call from a robot saying it’s an official HMRC matter, threatening prosecution and asking me to press 1 to talk to some supposed case officer. Pretty clear this is a scam since HMRC always sends letters in the post before doing anything like this.

I didn’t pick up, but they left a message saying they were Mike from HMRC and that I had to ring back straight away or there’d be serious trouble. Like anyone’s falling for that!
