8 yearsI got a call from a woman named Molly who claimed she was ringing about an accident I supposedly had recently - which is total rubbish, I haven’t had any. When I mentioned the accident, they then put me through to a bloke with a heavy Indian accent and a terrible connection. He said his name was John and said he worked for some company called Silver Shine. He told me the Road Traffic Accident Department had reported my “incident” to him, which apparently keeps records of all accidents across the UK. I told him straight there’s no such department, and he quickly ended the call. This is actually the third time this week I’ve had calls from these guys, always from numbers that look like they’re London-based.
