I received a call from a robotic voice purporting to be from HMRC, declaring that there’s an open fraud investigation tied to my name. They insisted that if I didn’t press #1, I’d be facing a warrant! What a complete hoax! I hung up immediately, but I can't help but think how terrifying this would be for those who might be more susceptible, particularly the elderly, as the number looked genuine and local to London. Please, everyone, stay alert!
