My elderly mate keeps getting calls from this number and it really worries him. I told him not to say anything unless he knows who it is, like a family member or a mate. I also told him to hang up quick by hitting the button on the phone base with his free hand.

Kept ringing me but when I tried to ring back, the number wouldn’t come up. Then got a man with an Asian accent who was really pushy, saying my computer had been sending error messages to Windows. He wanted me to do stuff on my PC while on the phone. Claimed he had a licence number but couldn’t share it or answer basic questions to prove he was legit. Got quite defensive when I mentioned phone preference services. Be careful, sounds like a proper scam and pretty dodgy.

Got a call from an Asian guy, really pushing that there was a problem with my computer. I told him straight up it sounded like a scam and asked him to take me off his list before hanging up. No sooner had i done that, he rang back annoyed that i'd cut him off. He kept going on, getting more pushy, and even said he’d cancel my Windows account. Told him if he phoned again I'd report him to the police. Hung up once more but he rang back two more times after that which i just ignored. Proper nuisance!

They rang me early this morning around 10:30 but I just let it go to voicemail. I always use my answerphone to filter out these really frustrating calls. My family and mates have a special code we use, so I know when to ignore nonsense like this. These calls are such a pain and really stressful. I never bother talking to them. Cheers for posting this.

A woman with an Indian accent named Irenee has phoned me more than 10 times within just 10 minutes about my computer. I kept saying I don’t own one and even warned I’d report her to the police for harrassment, but she never stopped ringing. She was calling from these numbers: 0199845445, 01340074580 & 01340075284.

They kept saying I had a Microsoft Windows PC, but I actually use a MacBook Pro. It all sounded a bit sketchy to me. Then the caller handed the phone over to another person, who asked what the issue was. I told them what was happening and mentioned again that I don’t have a Windows computer. I also asked where they got my info from. I told them I’d report this to the local authorities (which is nobody, really) because of what they were trying. Then they just hung up.

Following up on what I said yesterday. The machine seemed fine last night but this morning it's showing a message that it can't connect to the Windows server!!! It's just stuck on running scans now.

Got another call from these scoundrels today. I told the guy I fix my window troubles with Mr Sheen, and he had the nerve to say he could install a better antivirus on my PC!!! Whoever he was, it’s obvious he’s never done any cleaning. Ended up chuckling and just hung up.

Got a call from "technical support" claiming to be from some server in London. The woman on the line sounded Asian and struggled a bit to remember her last name. She insisted my computer was sending errors to their server. I played along for a bit, asking her which server and my IP details. After a while, I called her out saying she was a scammer using a fake number and definitely not in London. She got strangely defensive and ended up hanging up.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent saying my computer was sending error reports to Microsoft and he wanted to fix it. They keep ringing us every single hour from different numbers and as soon as we pick up, they just go silent or hang up. Got a ring today from an Asian guy claiming my PC was showing Microsoft error alerts. He asked for my computer’s licence number. I kept him chatting for about ten minutes before I lost interest and ended the call. Right after, I got another call from 01340075361, same bloke. He warned that if I didn’t play ball, Microsoft would block my access to the OS. Didn’t even know what operating system I had. He said he’d disconnect my PC from Microsoft. I just told him fine and hung up.

Got a call from a woman, sounded Indian, she said her name was Brenda!! She was going on about issues with my windows. I told her to wait a minute while I checked, stayed silent for a bit, then said I couldn’t find any problems, I could clearly see the garden behind and the street with cars outside!
