This morning I received a call from a number I didn't recognise. I had a suspicion it might be some sort of scam, so I didn’t bother answering. Later on, I looked up the number and yep, plenty of people saying it was scammers. Glad I didn’t pick up!

Just got a ring from this number and the connection was really bad, couldn’t catch most of what the bloke was on about. He mentioned something about mobiles, so I asked him to repeat himself. Out of nowhere, he started getting proper nasty, calling me names and swearing left and right. I was like, “Excuse me, what did you just say?” and he kept on with the abuse before abruptly hanging up on me. I’ve had plenty of scam calls before, but this is the first time someone got downright rude and abusive when I didn’t play along with their nonsense.
