I blocked this number and got a voicemail. The bloke was acting like he was on the phone with me, saying stuff like “yeah that’s alright, shall I send your refund to...” then he read out my address! Total rubbish!! Clearly just trying to get me to ring back!

Out of nowhere, I’ve been getting calls from 01997 322068. Didn’t pick up ‘cause I’ve never seen that number before. I switched my landline to one of those BT Call Blocker phones recently, which is brilliant, but now my mobile is getting bombarded with loads of random unknown numbers. Seriously, no clue how they got hold of my number.

01997322068 SHOULD BE BLOCKED, KEEP RINGING NON-STOP AND IT’S REALLY ANNOYING. PLEASE JUST STOP CALLING!!!!!

Keeps ringing me from loads of different numbers (looks like some number hunting software). Guess it's a random open line? Either some dodgy PPI stuff or just a wind-up.

The number 01997322068 has rung me loads. Sometimes they just hang up straight away, other times it’s a really pushy sales spiel with zero care for what I have to say. I can’t really say what they were selling 'cause I switch off as soon as I realise it’s one of those unwanted cold calls. When I nicely asked them to stop calling and take me off their list, the sales person got proper rude. What a tosser. Looks like they didn’t try very hard at school if this is the best job they could find.

Had a call from a PPI claim firm, they were using phone numbers that showed up as coming from Strathpeffer in Scotland but they're actually operating out of Manchester. They do this on purpose, making people curious about why the call is from such a random spot, which somehow makes more folks ring them back - something like a 65% boost in returns! Pretty smart way to get more calls, I guess.

01997 032068 rang me and the caller was really rude, kept secretive about who he was and where he was calling from, refused to say how they got my number. Honestly, people like that deserve a special place in hell, even though I'm not really into religion.

I came across a PPI reclaim firm that's got their phone lines routed through Strathpeffer, a quaint spot in Scotland, while their actual base is in Manchester. It’s a rather shrewd tactic they employ, presenting this peculiar location to pique curiosity among potential clients about why they'd receive calls from such an unusual place. It appears this has boosted their callback rates by a staggering 65%! Quite the clever marketing ploy, if you ask me!

This bloke called me using my first name, saying it was about a credit line I supposedly had before. I told him flat out that I don’t do cold calls and asked him not to ring me again. He kept going on, but I just ended the call.

I received a call today from a number listed as Strathpeffer, which I assume is in Scotland. Since I don’t recognise anyone from that area and have no connections there, I decided to pass on answering.

They called me around 5 times on my mobile before I finally picked up, said something about PPI. They had my old address and a credit card name from like ten years ago or more. Since then, I’ve gotten married, moved house, and don’t even have that card any more. I’m pretty sure I didn’t have a mobile back then! It's really worrying how they managed to get hold of all that info to phone me.

This company called Redstar have been ringing me loads this week, despite me askin them to take me off their list. They just wont stop. They use loads of different numbers, like from Manchester, Leeds, and even Scotland, so blocking one number doesn’t help cos they just ring from another. Proper pain in the neck.

Just hung up with them, the only stuff they had on me was an old address and my number. I spent a while feeding them a bunch of rubbish about loans, mortgages, and money situations from years back - all made up. Also got them believing they spelled my name wrong, so now all their info on me is completely off. Hoping these muppets end up getting busted trying to scam with fake details.

Received a call on my mobile earlier today. My wife picked up and they actually inquired about me by name. They were rambling on about "credit card interest from 2009." She informed them that I’ve never had a credit card and quickly ended the conversation. Quite the strange interruption!
