Received a dodgy call purporting to be from HMRC, stating a letter they'd dispatched to me had bounced back. It was some robotic voice on the other end. I ended the call promptly. The caller ID indicated the origin was Preston.

Seems like a right dodgy call to me! I don’t even use O2, yet they claimed to be ringing from there regarding my network. Just had a call from 01995549378, and it’s got scam written all over it!

Total scam! They pretended to be from O2, but clearly they weren't. Tried to fish for my card information to supposedly "update" my mobile plan. The moment I mentioned that I don't even have O2, they abruptly disconnected the call. What a bunch of fraudsters!
