Honestly, I didn’t pick up the phone so no clue who it was. They didn’t bother to leave a voicemail either, so I’m guessing it was just some dodgy spam or another con artist trying to trick me out of the fortune I definitely don’t have (wouldn’t mind though!). When will these annoying calls ever end? I’m fed up with random people ringing at all times hoping to scam me. Not falling for it again, once bitten, twice shy!

I’ve been getting calls from numbers claiming to be Hatton’s Legal Services, JPS Financial Services, and Sandstone Legal, supposedly based in South Africa. Even after I told them to stop, they kept ringing. When I called back, the person on the other end gave different company names but used the same phone number, which really made me think it’s a scam. I doubt they have any real details about me and are probably fishing for personal info or trying some other dodgy stuff. I've had 4 calls today from someone claiming it was about PPI. They wanted me to confirm my personal info and said it was linked to NatWest, which I’ve never dealt with at all. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

When lots of people report the same number, it alerts the phone companies to block it. For texts, send them to '7726' too, but also email any screenshots to '[email protected]' so the authorities can investigate. Scam emails should go to the same email address. Got a call from someone claiming to be from Hattons Solicitors about some PPI refund thing. They had loads of my details - my address, date of birth, even stuff about loans and credit cards I had ages ago. The guy told me he’d send a link to move forward with the claim. I checked the number for Hattons Solicitors online and this one wasn’t right at all, so I’m thinking it’s definitely a scam. Really don’t feel comfortable with how much they already knew about me.

JPS called me saying they were handling PPI claims and already knew I’d claimed before. They kept asking me to confirm my date of birth to "go ahead", but I said no. The guy kept pressing me about 8 times, arguing loads of people share birthdays anyway. I stuck to my guns and didn’t give it. Then, while still on the call, I quickly looked up the number online and told him I was aware it was a scam.
