I received a call claiming to be from Amazon, stating that there had been an attempt to log into my account. When I cheekily asked, “I presume it’s not you, is it?” the woman on the other end became quite indignant and abruptly ended the call! Definitely a scam with the number 01994 692943!

I received a call from a chap claiming to be from Microsoft regarding an issue with my computer. However, as soon as I mentioned that the machine belonged to my workplace and advised him to contact the IT Department, he abruptly hung up without offering any further clarification. Rather strange, don’t you think?

A rather chatty lady rang me up, insisting that my computer was in danger of being compromised. The moment I mentioned wanting to speak to her manager, she abruptly cut the line. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I received a rather pleasant call from a young woman purporting to be from the Microsoft Technical Department. She spoke about an issue regarding my computer. I honestly believe she was being genuine and truly had my best interests at heart!

Received a call from someone purporting to be from EE, touting an unbelievable offer on an iPhone. They said I could snag an iPhone 14 Pro Max for just £30 a month. Sounds a bit dodgy to me! Definitely smells fishy!

Received a call supposedly from EE, touting an iPhone 14 Pro Max for just £30. They then had the nerve to inquire if that seemed like a decent offer, my dear! I promptly informed them I'd be contacting EE myself!

I just had a rather dodgy phone call claiming I’d scored a gift card. But straight away, they were fishing for my banking details. Feels like a right scam, if you ask me!
