This caller said they were from EE. I usually mess about with these calls a bit but this is the tenth time I’ve had a “call” from EE in just the past few weeks. When I mentioned I'd looked up the number online and was going to report it, he just ended the call on me.

Just got a call on my phone from this Carmarthen number. A woman with an Indian accent said her name was Anna George. When I gave a cheeky ‘oh, suuuureee’ she didn’t catch on at all. She claimed she was ringing from Vodafone and could give me a 25% off my contract. Thing is, I’m nowhere near Vodafone, so I told her to jog on. Blocked and binned that number straight away.

I had a missed call from this particular number and, without giving it much thought, I attempted to call it back, convinced it was a local one-just a digit off, you see. However, I was met with a message stating it was an incorrect number. Quite the mix-up!

Hazel, supposedly from EE (I’m not convinced). The number showed up as Carmarthen, South Wales, but that’s probably a redirect, and it seems connected to other calls I've had from different numbers. Sometimes it’s a bloke, sometimes a woman, but always with a South Asian or Indian accent. I’ve also reported it to the ICO to help keep an eye on this gang before they manage to fool someone vulnerable. Last time, the person working with her got really aggressive.
