Watch out for this one; it’s a total scam. Best to steer clear!

Watch out for these tricksters! They’re really on the prowl, pulling fast ones on unsuspecting folk. It’s absolutely ridiculous how they think they can get away with this nonsense!

I’ve completely forgotten the source of that call. It rang for a moment and then disappeared as quickly as it came. I chose to let it ring out, as I don’t recognise the number or anyone associated with it.

I picked up the call, but there was just dead air on the other end, and then they disconnected. How strange!

Received yet another call purportedly from EE. I've been toying with them a bit, but it’s rather ridiculous – this makes the tenth time they’ve rung me in just a few weeks! The moment I mentioned that I’d looked up the number and intended to report it, he promptly disconnected. Quite the cheek, isn’t it?

I received a call purporting to be from Curry's PC World, advertising incredibly low-priced mobile phones. The person at the other end was speaking at such a rapid pace that I barely caught any of the details. It’s highly likely this is a scam.

I received a call claiming to be from Currys Mobile. I kept them on the line for a good five minutes, but ultimately, they decided to drop the call. What a laugh!

I was taken for a ride with that supposed 50% discount from O2. I ended up chewing the fat with Justin Smith for more than 15 minutes, and it felt just like one of those Jim Browning sting operations. What a charade!

I had a missed call from this particular number and, without giving it much thought, I attempted to call it back, convinced it was a local one—just a digit off, you see. However, I was met with a message stating it was an incorrect number. Quite the mix-up!

I wasn't able to answer my phone in time, but upon checking, it seems to have been an unwanted or bothersome call. Pleased I dodged that bullet! I'm going to go ahead and block the number now.

She claimed to be representing PC World. So, I casually requested her to belt out the jingle from their advert, just to verify her story... and wouldn't you know it, she promptly ended the call. Doesn't quite add up—I'm doubting her PC World credentials now!

I received a call from the number 01994 692310, but struggled to comprehend the woman on the line because of her rather thick accent. It now seems likely that it was a scam attempt, so I promptly ended the call.

She claimed to be calling from PC World, so I challenged her to belt out the jingle from their advertisement to prove her authenticity... and just like that, she cut the call. Seems to me she wasn’t really representing PC World after all!

Claimed to be from my service provider, yet mentioned Vodafone. I am actually with o2. They were going on about receiving numerous grievances regarding hefty bills and poor connectivity, inquiring if I've faced any issues myself.

This chap claimed to be representing Curry’s Mobile when he rang me up. I enquired about what that was, and he replied it's a mobile service provider. I told him it wasn’t a brand I recognised or ever interacted with, then bid him farewell. Without a second thought, I blocked the number—it’s clear it’s a dodgy call when they can’t even get the name of the company straight!

I received a call from someone who was speaking with a strong accent, but they mangled the name of their company so badly that I couldn’t make out a word. I mentioned that I was working and quite swamped and hadn’t the slightest moment to chat. Their reply was simply, “oh shut up!” I’ve made up my mind to block that number for sure!

A lady rang me claiming to be from EE, trying to sell me a phone deal that supposedly included unlimited data for £30 a month. I was having none of it, as I was well aware it reeked of a scam. Plus, I already have an excellent arrangement with my current provider for a mere £10 a month. I firmly told her to leave me alone and then swiftly blocked the number.

Received a phone call from Carmarthen, Wales, but an Indian lady on the line claimed to represent some Welfare Organisation. The background was buzzing with a chorus of noisy Indian voices. I struggled to make sense of what she was saying, so I decided to hang up and just blocked the number.
