Got a call from a “bank” with a local number, saying there were unauthorised charges on my credit card - one for Amazon and another firm I don’t remember. After I answered, there was a long pause, then an automated voice came on asking me to press 1 to stop the transactions. Didn’t trust it and hung up straight away. Later checked my account myself and everything was all good. Normally I don’t even answer unknown numbers, but this one was local, so I thought it might be legit.
