7 yearscouple days ago i got a call pretending to be from visa about some authorisation, then yesterday amazon prime called me with one of those scams too. seriously, barely a week passes without some dodgy phone call. if it’s a recorded message i just let it run till the end and hang up, never say a word back. but if it’s a real person i usually try to talk them round a bit before ending the call.Visa7 yearsgot a robocall pretending to be amazon about my prime membership. they said my subscription payment was coming out soon using the card I supposedly had saved, and if i wanted to chat or cancel, i should press 1. didn’t add up since my prime wasn’t up for renewal, so I just hung up. pretty sure it’s a phishing trick trying to get your account info if you actually call back. watch out for this kind of scam!Amazon7 yearsGot a call from a lady with an American accent, sounded like a recording, saying I had to renew my Amazon Prime yearly subscription. She said if I had any problems or wanted to challenge it, I should press 1 to talk to a Prime rep. Thing is, I’ve never had Amazon Prime, so it’s clearly a dodgy call.
