I picked up the phone and the chap claimed he was going over my life insurance policy. However, when I began to inquire further about the insurance provider, he abruptly cut the call!

I received a call from this number on the 3rd of August, but I chose not to answer it. They didn’t leave a voicemail, so I’ve since blocked them. Seems dodgy to me!

Received an automated call claiming that my IP address had been breached in multiple countries. Naturally, I ended the call and did a quick online search for the number, as I had a hunch it was some sort of scam.

I've been inundated with daily phone calls from some dodgy scammers claiming that my internet service is about to be terminated. Honestly, I just ignore them and hang up. I even had a rather posh-sounding lady from India on the line once, but she cut me off when I pointed out that if she were genuinely representing BT, she'd already have my account number handy.

Receiving caller ID for incoming calls is a real boon when it comes to dodging those pesky scams. Any number that doesn't ring a bell gets swiftly discarded without a second thought!

I ought to have BT's security features in place.

Received an automated message claiming my internet would be terminated because my IP address had been compromised by multiple nations. They insisted I urgently needed to acquire a new IP address and prompted me to press 1 to reach a technician. It reeked of a scam, so I promptly hung up and added the number to my block list. Quite the nuisance!

I received a recorded voice message from a woman claiming to be from an internet provider. She mentioned that they had been attempting to reach me and that my internet service was at risk of being disconnected. I decided to hang up the phone then and there.

I've been receiving persistent calls from the same landline, 01993 847483. It's quite annoying, as it appears to follow a familiar pattern that others have mentioned as well. I’ve brought it to BT's attention, yet they seem rather indifferent about the whole situation.

I've had the 14th call from a different number claiming my internet is about to be disconnected due to server issues. It's clearly a scam, so steer clear of these tricksters. Do these folks not tire of trying?

Received a recorded voice that claimed my internet security had been breached and suggested I press 1 for assistance. Quite frankly, I didn’t fall for that one!

The Call Minder system prompts each caller to state their name, yet the individual from this number opted to remain anonymous. Make of that what you will.

I received a phone call from someone who was quite insistent about me disclosing my IP address. They became rather confrontational when I declined to provide that information.

I received a rather dubious phone call that claimed to be from BT, insisting that I need to update my IP address, or risk being disconnected. When prompted to press 1 for further assistance, I promptly ended the call, suspecting it was nothing more than a scam. I strongly believe that pressing that button could lead to unexpected charges. Best to stay cautious, if you ask me!

I wasn't familiar with the number, so I chose to let it ring out. My hunch is it's likely another one of those dodgy calls we've seen mentioned before – probably a scam, to be honest.
