I received a rather dodgy call purporting to be from the Visa Security team-definitely not the real deal! It had that impersonal, robotic tone typical of these banking scams.

Got a ring from this number not long ago, and honestly, the caller just stayed silent the whole time. Couldn’t understand if they couldn’t hear me or just didn’t want to talk. Pretty sure it’s one of those scam calls, classic.

About an hour and a half ago I got a call which Call Guardian picked up, didn’t leave anything. Pretty sure it was some sort of scam, if you ask me.

Got a call around 12.14 on 16th August from some security company saying over £300 and more than £1000 had been paid to a business I’ve never dealt with. They were trying to verify if this was legit but it turned out to be a total scam.

I had no idea who was calling so I just let it keep ringing, didn’t get any voicemail or anything. Later, I looked up the number and - surprise surprise - just some dodgy bank scam trying their luck again. Typical!

I got a random call today, number showed up clearly on my phone so I thought it might be legit. A recorded message said they were from my bank’s security team about some suspicious purchases at a couple of shops. They wanted me to ring back to sort it out. My real bank usually texts me straight away if anything dodgy pops up, so this felt fishy. Honestly, don’t bother calling back, these scammers have got really sneaky with their tricks now.

Watch out, this is a total bank security scam! Don’t believe it for a second.

Got a call from someone pretending to be from my bank, total scam! So dodgy 😡

Had a dodgy call the other day from someone claiming to be from Visa or "Bank Security". They said there was some funny business going on my debit card and even hinted someone at my bank might be involved. Then they started pushing me to move my money to a supposedly "secure" account or do a "test transaction" - classic trick to nick your cash. On another occasion, they told someone I know to withdraw big sums and send it off to a money mule by post. Proper scam, watch out!

Had a call claiming money was stolen from my bank account, said it was some kind of bank security issue. Got tricked by something similar before. Best thing to do is just ignore it, end the call, and make sure to report it to Action Fraud.
