Over the past few days, I’ve had three separate calls from different numbers. The first caller said they were ringing about my EE contract, but when I said I wasn’t with EE, they asked if I was with Vodafone instead. I had a laugh and said no, then they just hung up. The next day I let it ring out and didn’t answer. Then today I picked up and it was another woman with an Indian accent saying she was calling from “my network.” I asked which network she meant, and she said Virgin. I couldn’t help but laugh and told her no again before she ended the call. It’s definitely a scam, probably using fake numbers. Best to just ignore them.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Vodafone, trying to sell me an iPhone Pro Max for £30 a month with unlimited stuff included. Sounded way too good to be legit. They never used my actual name, which set off warning bells right away. I asked them to tell me my name, but they had no idea. Said they were from some department, not the accounts one. Then I asked for my account number to see if they really had my details, and they couldn’t give me one. Ended the call pretty quick. Total scam.
