I received a rather dubious call on my landline from the number 01993 224 556. When I answered, there was nothing but silence initially, but then a person chimed in, introducing herself as “Michelle from Microsoft” and saying she was phoning regarding my computer. I sincerely hope that these scammers are tracked down and put an end to.

I chose not to pick up the call as my phone indicated it might be a potential spam.

So, I received a call from someone claiming to have knowledge about my outstanding debts, which I found rather peculiar. I told them I had no clue how they came by that information, and then they just ended the call! They spoke with a South Aussie accent, by the way. Quite strange, if you ask me!

They claimed I had outstanding debts, but I informed them that I’m completely debt-free and I've no idea where they got such information. After that, the call abruptly ended.

This number rang my mum, but as soon as she picked up, the line went silent. Now I'm just sitting tight, hoping they’ll ring back. Quite irritating, I must say!

I’m not familiar with this number, and honestly, if it were something of consequence, you'd expect they’d reach out again within three hours, wouldn’t you? It's quite strange they haven't made another attempt.
